Jott.com – an awesome way to record thoughts

by Steve on July 27, 2007

Have you ever been in your car or somewhere else, and had that great idea or thought you wanted to record but couldn’t write it down? Go set up a free account at jott.com. You register your cell phone number, and then you can leave a message with them. But it’s much better than voice mail, because they convert it to text and then email it to you!

Not only that, but they provide a link to the original audio just in case the voice is too quiet or unintelligible.

This does essentially what voice recorders and voice recognition software do, but for free!

This has to be one of the year’s most killer voice to text app! It’s pure convenience for one who has their hands tied or in the car driving! So much more can be done with jott. Just killer!!!
