Nice review. I like the M200 a lot. The 215 too, same size, little bit more weight. My first encounter ever with a Pelikan was an M200. At the time I thought is felt cheap, too light, too plastic. Now I like it a lot. The RED 205 is a design classic I think.

I didn't learn to love the fountain pen until January 2009, but by then, I was 27 years old and well out of school.

Had I had a good fountain pen and a bottle of my favorite ink (Noodler's Heart of Darkness), I would have written much more.

I am addicted to the smoothness, brightness, and beauty of fountain pens.

Bring the fountain pen back. Noodler's bulletproof inks and my Pilot Cavalier have made me give away all my old roller ball pens - don't need them. They no longer have any benefits over a fountain pen.

I have bought any number of Hero pens from isellpens, and I love every Hero. For a better feel, try the jumbo...looks the same but fatter, ergo easier to grip. I switched back to fountain pens initially for the endless ink colors, but I 'contend' with them (constantly refilling and washing ink from my fingers) for the blissfully crampless ease of writing...no pressing, no cramping grip. Hero does make some 'better' pens, ie, heavier better balanced, and they always write well, usually without any breaking in.

I have actually switched to a legal pad inside my Coach zip portfolio (Remember I am just a salesperson with a glorified title!), and like the 8-1/2 X 11 format after struggling with the pocket size Moleskine myself. If I went back to Moleskine it would be the larger size for sure. Oh wait, I still carry the larger saddle bound style inside the Coach portfolio I forgot about that - :-)
