This new blog is a celebration of all the ways we try to record our thoughts. From notepads to voice recorders, from PDAs to tablet PCs, there are all kinds of ways of preserving our thoughts, feelings and ideas.
So, there will be posts on the various ways we can record these thoughts, through journals, notepads and notebooks and other means. Along with pens, pencils, paper and other bits of paraphenalia that go along with it all.
Mind you, this isn’t a cooking site (although I do like to cook), it’s just that it’s easier to put recipes up here rather than sending emails all the time. Anyway, this recipe is a favorite because it is very easy to do, the ingredients are either things everyone has or that keep for long periods of time, and I have yet to clean up any left overs any time I’ve served it to people. I got the recipe from my aunt, who got it from who knows where.
- 1 Can Crab – usually about 6.5oz.
- 1 8oz pkg. Cream Cheese
- 2 Tbs Finely diced onions
- 1 Tbs Milk
- 1/2 tsp Horse Radish
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- “dash” Pepper
- 1 Box Water Crackers
Preheat oven to 375 deg F. Combine everything but the crakers in a bowl, mix until well blended. Place in a small crock or dish and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until there is a slight hint of brown here and there on top. Remove from the oven, and serve with crackers.
